ive got a 302 stock block and the person before me put heads with a casting of D8OE on it which i beleive is off of a 1978 LTD or Granada...crappy heads. at work, i was doing some looking areound for parts for my car and found a set of GT40P heads off of a 98 explorer that i could get for around $300 for a complete pair. i already have flowteck headers on it and was wondering because of the modified spark plug location, if they would fit my headers and if not, how much modification would have to be done to them.

I've read on here before that only one company makes headers for classics and the GT40P heads It might have been Central Coast Mustang, but I'm not sure. The P heads are far outclassed by other aftermarket heads and you should consider the possible cost of changing springs and things to match your cam.
