I recently had some stereo work done, and when it was finished, my guage lights wouldn't come on. So I figured I blew a fuse. I replaced the broken ones (there were two), but it didn't fix the problem. I think the fuses I put in were a 5 amp higher rating than the existing ones, but that shouldn't keep it from working should it? I have aftermarket gauges, and I've been told that they do burn out after a while, but it seems like too much of a coincidence to just burn out right after the stereo work being done. Has this happened to anyone else? Can anybody offer some insight as to what the problem may be? Thanks.
