hey, he's makin do with what he's got. Quality work on the engine bay. if the rest of his car goes as well as that, he'll have a pretty solid car when its all done. $100 investment. Id do it. You cant lose. Youre replacing a ton of **** on a $4000 foxbody anyway.

Are you going to keep it strawberry?

Looks good so far man, a little bit at a time. I'm sure people thought The Great Wall of China was a joke too being built a brick at a time, but look at it now.

You look to be doing this job the right way, straighten the body a bit and some fresh shinny paint will earn you thumbs up down the road.

When you gank the engine, be sure to freshen up the paint on it as well.

Be sure to keep us up-to-date wth the progress. Of course while you have the engine out, it would be cool to see you weld and smooth out some of the many holes Ford put in the engine comparment.

Are you taking parts off the notch in the street..? It looks to be a running car, in better shape.

hey man,im not sure if your aware or not but you dont want to be putting body filler over paint.not gunna last very long like that.gotta put it on bare metal and you dont want to leave it exposed without a primer or something sealing from the elements for long either.great find though.

by the judge of the faded paint around the bondo it looks like it was exposed to some heat or something indicating possible sanding...

It looks like he sanded it down then put the filler on. Some fillers don't require you to grind it to the metal. I have some Evercaot Glazing Putty that you can just hit spots with 80 grit and let it fly. If that is Bondo, though, I hope he got it to bare metal like you said.
