Sure.....I'd have to dig though my old back issues of MM&FF and 5.0 Mustang for articles on it (which to be honest, I don't really feel like doing right now), but here are a few web based sites that talk about it. It started years ago with the old Fox bodied Stangs and still holds true today....

yank it off, just extra weight, I get none, well to be perfectly honest after the 4.10's for awhile I did it and it seems smoother. have no idea but works for me.

free mods rule all.

wait a minute, you have to reattach the bracket????

how do you go about that? what do you attach it to, the only thing thing that it seemed to bolt to is the dog bone.

do i really need the bracket back on?

Thanks for those links Brian.. good reads. I think the most useful comment I saw was:

"Not exactly...they're frequency-specific. The frequencies it is designed to attenuate will still occur with different gears, just at different speeds."
