H/C/I Combo advice and possible numbers?

I'm going to port the E7's Im giving him but after some poking around I'm hoping he'll just go with the Thumpers. I'm confident in my ability to port the heads and do a solid and quality job of it for a home-grown porting job but I certainly cant come anywhere near what a competent pro with knowledge, experience and the proper tools can accomplish.

If your going to go with a complete H/C/I package combo later, port the stock lower intake as it will feed a ported E7 head if done correctly and you can get close to what you paid for it later. If you would use a Cobra/Explorer intake later on new heads/cam, then get the Cobra/Explorer now and use it stock on the E7s and port the lower later for use on aftermarket heads and a new cam.
