I've been thinking about picking up an electric water pump and a good fan(s). The Houston heat is killer in the summer and I'd like to keep my car as cool as possible and maybe pick up an hp or two. I'm looking for some suggestions or possibly a good place to purchase them from. I currently have a fluidyne radiator. Thanks.

Electric water pump would probably free up a little.. as I'm sure you know, we already have pretty decent electric fans. I'm guessing your fluidyne is a 3 core, and that's about the best step you can take rad. wise. Some redline water wetter may help out a bit.

look into evans NPG cooling. i used it years ago in a LT-1 buildup for a freind of mine. this stuff was great on that car. way better cooling in hot weather

one of the big benefits of this stuff is the high boiling point. at hot spots normal coolant starts to boil and this can cause problems for cars in hot climates or any perfromance car for that matter. you want to avoid these hot spots and have even cooling, this will allow you safer operation when using a more agressive tune.

it's a PITA to switch over because you need to drain the car of ALL the coolant. the NPG can not be mixed with regular coolant.
