hanging mufflers

so i recently upraged my exhaust to an o/r h pipe from mac , and come to find out it has ball flange connectors at the end of it and nobody carrys them locally around here , most dont even know what they are , and i dont have time or money to wait on the walker ball flanges from summit , which is what everyone ive talked to locally has refereed me to , so now i think ill just cut off the ends and weld pipes their , and thats what im probably gonna do , but that brings me to another problem hanging the gosh dern mufflers , the only good place i see to hang them would be in that little indention in front of the differential , as anyone ever done this is , it expensive ? what kind of hangers do i use? , its a v6 so it was never meant to have dual mufflers or dual exhaust or any of that
