Headers Walkthrough

Okay, ive searched throuhg this site and im having a hard time finding a Longtube header install on our cars. Ive got a 95 gt. The engine is all stock with everything there. The gay smog pump and ***** like that. I have flowtech longtube headers with the full flange. Its an automatic. Im wondering what all i need to take off to get them to slide in. Where to slide them in. Top or bottom. It has the sllip fit tubes. thanx everyone. I appreciate the help. Oh yeah, my new headers dont have the spot to put that tube on them. what can i do with it.

you did get a matching mid-pipe right? as far as the install it should be pretty straight forward. get some penetrating spray for the old h-pipe bolts. i have never installed long tubes so im not sure if its easier to go from top or bottom. you will probobly have to disconnect the steering shaft as well as loosen the motor mounts and jack the engine up. someone else will chime in on that. for your egr tube, the only way for it to really work without it is to get the egr function turned off in the computer. a chip or a tuning device can take care of that.
