I took down my headliner cardboard today and end up in a cloud of vaporized brown dust that I assume was some sort of felt padding. Freaking nasty. Now on to removing that foam from the cardboard.
That looks really awesome. I bought the peel and stick also. I'm carefully peeling off the foam now off the cardboard.Yeah, that stuff is nasty. I ended up using the peel and stick insulation (like dynomat) on the underside of my roof. I did my headliner myself. Came out nice.
I know right. The humidity level dropped over the past couple days to allow me to dye my interior plastic and dry without issues. I do have an angle grinder with a metal cutting disk however I just replaced the window motorsYou wouldn't have this problem if you'd bought a convertible. You're in FL, @rotorhead22, and it's starting to be perfect top down weather.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. I will get back to it with a fiber wheel I have. I stopped on the head liner over the past couple of days to take advantage of the low humidity to dye/ paint the interior panelsPeeling the foam off the cardboard is not really something you need to do carefully. I took mine off with a wire wheel on a drill.
The lawnmower might be overkill. Try scissors first.
About ready to remove this from the check list. Just need to trim
Yeah on second thought you’re right. Kind of nerve-racking trying to keep the wrinkles outThe lawnmower might be overkill. Try scissors first.
So that’s the something new I learned for the day. I thought the warm ocean currents would offset any cold from elevation.Yes it does........
