heads and cams ???

[FUNXGT]

i am thinking about putting some stage 2 heads and cams in my car.. i have put several cams and heads etc on 5.0s in the past but have never tore down a 4.6 ohc motor... is it real difficult or perhaps easier, i have no idea. i have about $1800 to spare and found heads and cams for about that so i realy want to go that route..
any opinions or technical info would be appreciated..

it is not going to be that diffenent in skill level. same job diffenent timing and valve ajustment technique. Just read some info on timing and valve adjustment. It seems pretty strait forward to me. I am going to be doing the same thing. way to cheap to pay someone to do it.

my take on it is just make sure you roll it over by hand before you start it to verify you have done the timing right since it is you first time.

my advice would be just to make sure you don't have to have your car done in a day or something make sure you give yourself some extra time incase the learning curve is steaper than it looks.
