I have an 03 cobra, pulley change, cold air, no cats, when drag racing just before i hit the 8th mile in 2nd gear 6500 rpm ..motor shut down like im not getting enough fuel ... please help me

umm, whats your rev. limiter set at? It's either that or you are running out of MAF. Who did your tune?

what is happening is that your MAF is pegged. mine did the same thing. You need a Maf.ia

Mine would just fall flat on it's face.

+1, but i upgraded to the SCT BA2400 MAF vs. going the Maf.ia or MAFXtender route. either will work fine. just a matter of preference. If you are using SCT tuning software, then it make dialing in the tune MUCH easier if you run the SCT MAF. But, as I stated before, a good tuner can dial in anything.

I would add....Dan's mod increases your modification potential vs just the MAF.ia.

The MAF.ia just increases your rev potential, not the potential for more airflow...I think???

Actually, the SCT MAF housing is the same size as the stock Cobra MAF, the sensor will not peg @ 5volts like the stocker though until roughly 800hp if I am not mistaken. So, no airflow increase.
