Help highbeam wont shut off on pass. side

i switched headlights a couple of days ago and barley noticed that the pass side is alot brighter then the driver.. and i notice when i turn the nigh beams on only the driver side gets brighter.. so im guessing the pass side high beam is stuck on sumhow.. neone heard of this happening?? how can i fix it??!! thanks

First, Check for a short in the wiring and the socket.

also, if you hit 'flash-to-pass' does the pass side get brighter? IIRC, when the brights are on, it is only the high beam. but with flash-to-pass, both highs and lows are on. If both beams are staying on, i would check the wires in the MF switch.
