help! need tire sizing for cobra rims 17x9 and 17x10.5

HELLO ALL, IM STUMPED. I KEEP GETTING THE RUN AROUND ON WHICH SIZE TIRES I NEED. I HAVE A 95 GT. WHICH HAS BEEN DROPPED 1.5' AND RECENTLY CAME ACROSS SOME COBRA RIMS SIZE:
17X9 FRONT
17X10.5 REAR
I KEEP HEARING THAT I NEED DIFFERENT TIRE SIZES FROM EVERYONE! IM NOT LOOKING TO RACE JUST WOULD LIKE SOME NICE LOOKING TIRES FOR THESE RIMS! PLEASE HELP ME, WHICH TIRE SIZE WOULD YOU SUGGEST, THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Well, for the 17x9 I wouldn't go any smaller than a 255/45/17 and for the 17x10.5 I wouldn't go any small than a 315/35/17.

Just my opinion... I run 17x9.5 all the way around and 245/45 is too small and 275/40/17 is okay but could be bigger.

k, thanks for the response., are the 315 35 17 good tires though for a daily dribver, if not what are siome good tire sizes on these sized rims for a daily driven car.
