Help Please

I have a couple of questions. First of all, I have water in my passenger side headlight. Anyone have an idea as to how I could get it out?

And my second question is concerning a Cold Air Intake. I've heard you can use PVC pipe but I believe that CAI's are made of aluminum. Which would be better to use since I have access to both? Also, would insulating the piping be a good idea or not? If so, what should I use to insulate it?

Remove the headlight and drill a small hole into the lens, right behind the joint of the lamp and rear lens. I did mine a few years ago, they work fine and the holes are barely visible.

As far as the CAI pipe, the heat from the exhaust mainfold would eventually melt PVC, I don't see the benefits of metal except that it looks good. metal also conducts heat. I gutted my "FORD" portion of the intake and put a large PVC pipe thru it to complete my CAI. No melt worries, also has a little bit of insulation properties as well

The water is entering at the seam where the light lens joins the reflector. Using Ponycar's suggestion of drilling a hole will remove the water, but you need to keep the water out so it won't blow your bulbs. I used a bead of clear silicone around the seam to seal mine; works great.

If the headlamps are leaking, sealing them up may eventually cause the problem to return??????. Mine have been drilled for 5yrs now, no blown bulbs as of yet, with holes there is no chance of them refilling

I had to drill a hole in the passenger side of my GT. My pasenger side on my 2.3 the lens got busted out in an accident so I made a new lens out of packing tape!

Couldn't I use metal and wrap it in some kind of fiberglass insulation? or PVC and wrap it in the insulation? Just an idea.
