Help question?

This pass week end i did some work to my 93 gt. I did the basics like new plugs (autolites), cap and rotor(msd), coil(msd blaster),and new plug wires(ford racing) every thing went on just like it should.I also put a new throttle body and egr plate on i went with the bbk 70mm which i was told by a person from bbk that it would work on my car. I also put a bbk fenderwell mount cold air intake on to. Now my problem is since i did this my car shifts funny.Before it had nice frim shifts now unless you have the gas pedal to the floor you hardly feel it shift and it will be in over drive by 40. I am lost at what could have caused this. Any ideas or suggestions? Would i be better off just putting the stock throttle body and egr plate back on?besides that the car runs good.

did you check the tps sensor voltage after reinstalling tps sensor and was voltage correct....see link below for instructions

The throttle body came with tps sensor ot it all ready. I followed the directions. I will check out the site you sent me thanks.

check your tps voltage according to link(thats what i set mine at) It should be .98-.99 volts if not repost myself or someone will tell you how to adjust if needed you will need a digital multimeter if you don't have one wal-mart sells them for about $20 checking a good place to start.

I am going to ge a multimeter today but i dont quite under stand how that would control the way and how my car shifts.

It is the TV cable for the tranny. Needs adjusting. Get it done before something gets hurt in the AOD.

Maybe when you put back your sparkplug wires you mixed up the timing setup. I dont have the diagram...but Im sure if you do a search. This happened to me....good luck!!

If you added a spacer, chances aer you offset the TV cable. Adjust it NOW! Stop driving and do it! Or you will have smoky AOD for dinner.

A couple guys are right on here. That's the TV cable. You will be buying a new tranny if you drive that very much as is. You need to fix it right away.

Those pictures should help you ID it. It is one of the two cable on the TB. It should look exactly like one of the two models in the instructions.
