ok so tofay i raced at the local track for my first time. not real happy w/ my runs but they were ok got in about 6 runs and pulled a best of 16.09 @ 87.66mph. eh it was ok i was hopin to see 15s. the first 3 runs i improved a total of .3 sec and after that i couldnt beat it. ill post the slip on the timeslips thread once i can get to a scanner. i was pretty impressed that i pulled off a .593 r/t. o well at home i have some fresh nitto 555's waiting to be mounted on monday and im puttin in the order for my spintech catback i think that should do it(its bone stock right now minus the rims). as for comparison times i race my friends(his moms) 96 lincoln mark 8 that pulled a best of 14.95 stock,my firends 83 auto el camino w/ edlebrock rpm intake maniforld and 650cfm carb pulled a best of 16.8, an rsx-s w/ a cai that pulled a 15.5 against me, and neon all riced out pulled a 16.8 on me. i must say that i really liked the track experience, i really feel that it was much more fun than street racing, maybe cause it had spectators watching and it was legal. overall a great experience for me and ill be back hopefully with some better times.
