Hood fitment on a Cervinis Stalker for 99+

I called Cervinis and they said the highest point was 1 1/8 inches but did not know how that compared to the stock hood.

Anybody know about engine clearence with this hood? I've got a vortech SC that fits fine under the stock hood. Actually the part that seems highest is the Automoter Electric Fuel Pressure guage adapter.

Basically the question is... Is the Stalker hood AT LEAST the same heigth as the stock hood?

yes you will be ok with clearance. plus it fits like a glove (not OJ's glove either)

honestly i dont think it is any taller than stock but it might be by a little. trust me i doubt you will have any issues. i have the 2.5" stormin norman on my older stang and i can tell you that this is nowhere near as tall. its probably like 1.5"

those stalker hoods are sooooooo nice and i was wondering how much it would cost altogether in estimate to get and put on a laser red stanger...how much did anybody pay to get the hood, install, and paint job? i think the hood itself is like 400, but i wasnt sure how much paint would be...?

the hood it slightly taller inside and out than the stock hood. The hood will be about $500 shipped then look for about another $300+ for prep and paint. I have the whole stalker kit on and it all fits perfect and cervinis has been great...Just waiting for paint now.

Q's stang, those prices scooter quoted are pretty much the same I have been quoted.

$399 + Shipping for hood.
$300 for paint and prep.

looks pretty sweet. i was considering those side scoops but i think im just gonna get the stock ones in aluminum to match my hood scoop inserts.
