Hood flew open!!

post em up....i need to see some more pics. hopeing to start liking them.

i think they look good on race looking cars i will be able to pul it off. i just think you have to get used to them.

the hood on my old fox stang flew up on me the day before i sold it and dented the roof and screwed the hood up bad

Well i got the window replaced but it seems that the hood is salvagable so that is going to get fixed and painted. Also the roof got a little banged up so that is going to get fixed and painted(So much for saving up for diff. rebuild). I'll post some pics ounce I get every thing painted!

My 3" cowl hood flew up this spring and it was definately latched properly. Detached entirely off the car,smashed the windsheild,dented the roof in about 4-5 inches,causing the rear window to implode all over me. Have had it on for over a year before that happened. I'm looking into hood pins but like alot of you-i don't like the look.

got some on mine cause of it popping up on the freeway but the safety catch caught before it was to late. im with every body on the fiber glass hood need pins

I've had my (stock) hood pop up but the safety latch caught it. These morons at Xpress Lube didn't shut it all the way. The thing that got me is that I found a large screw driver under my hood. It was an oil change for god's sake... That was the once or twice I paid someone to do it.

I have to drop my hood from a few feet to have it latch tight.
