It appears that strap wasn't rated for the weight it was assigned to carry...Ground Straps are overrated.

I'm going the cheap route for now to get it going. Stainless straight through mufflers on amazon are $50. Debating using the F150 and bronco stuff and not buying anything at all.I don't know what you're looking for mufflers or what mufflers you're looking for but if you've got any Gen 2 CTSVs floating around your salvage yard, measure the mufflers and see if they will fit.
They're fairly quiet, deep rumble at idle, and will support 1200+ HP before a cut-out is any benefit.
