How 2 Tell If A MAF is Cal'd

Check the part number if it's an OEM meter. This will tell you what application it's for (and you can deduce what injectors would work since stock meters are not cal'd for injectors).

Good luck.

If it's a stock meter....then the calibration is in the ECU.

Clay could not be any more correct :nice:

To drive the point home all the more :D

For a stock or oem meter ........
it has NO calibration to ANY injector size

If that was not so ... Ford could not have used the exact same
meter on GT AND Cobra Stangs as each has different size inj's ;)

Caled meters are a product of the after market meter companies :)

A little basic info if anyone cares to increase thier knowledge :D

Is there anyway to calibrate a stock maf to different injectors... he said that a tuning place charged him a lot of money to tune his maf to injectors or something

if thats the case... can i just run a 94/95 cobra Ecu????
with a stock maf????

You might be better off picking up a Tweecer or something and loading up the J4J1 (I think) tune for the Cobra. Then you can make changes as necessary, to better suit your combo.

And if its not possible grady what maf would go with my 24lberz good... i want to be able to drive my car after the swap for a few weeks till i make the money for a tune... would i have to go buy a C&L or Pro-M... What do i need to make a ligntning maf work??? also can we use the same maf's as a fox or do we need a pigtail connector???
