How difficult?

Hello all,
I'm going to be swapping out the stock rear that's currently in my Notch for the 4:10 rear in my now gutted vert.
Question is: How tough of a job is this? Any of you guys done this recently?
A buddy of mine who while admittedly is not a Mustang guy, but is a mechanic will be helping me out.
Any tips, advice?
Thanks in advance for the help!:nice:

Technically the entire rear end is only held on by 8 bolts (not including the driveshaft)

Two Lower control arm bolts
Two Upper control arm bolts
Two shock bolts
Two quad shock bolts.

A couple of hours and some big hammers can get the job done in the driveway.

If you are swaping just the rear gears, I'd have a professional shop do it. Not saying you can't, but my skills and driveway space are limited so I defer to a professional for my rear gear changes.

My experience was it takes two guys about 4-6 hours. That includes bleeding the brakes. You need a good floor jack and some jackstands. Don't attempt it without them.
