How do C&L MAF Meters work? Do you re-use the stock electronics?

I thought when people said they use different sample tubes, I thought they meant the intake elbow, that got me confused.....then i realized the sample tube was that part that exposes the MAF sensor to the incoming air...

I see people selling these all the time, and none of them have any electronics....

Do you just put the stock electronics, with the correct sample tube for your injectors?

How reliable are they? I've hear good and bad about them, so i don't know...If i can get one cheap, is it worth it? I need one for 24# injectors...

The C&L sample tube is what modifies the airflow signal to the electronics. C&L has a different sized sample tube for each injector size and your factory electronics will work fine.
