How do you remove longtube headers?

Its been over a year since I've put them on... Now I cant remember how to get them off I remember taking off the starter, alt, and unbolting the steering shaft. Which way does each header come out? I dont have any smog or egr on my car so I'm thinking that'll make it easier

i dont know much about long tubes, but for my shorties, i went through under the car on the driver's side and through the bay for the passenger.

I didn't take the starter or alternator out. I took the two 7/8 motor mount nuts off and jacked the motor up 3 inches. Unbolted the steering shaft and yanked the oil dipstick. After all this it was unbolting the headers and lifting them up from the top.
