Alright Everybody, I did a search and noticed that no one has done this type of thread before. I am looking for dyno #s, ETs, and what applications.
Likes and dislikes with your stroker?
Wish you would have gone another way (331/347/306)?
How do you use your Stang (Daily, Weekend, Strip)?
Different applications instead of what you are running (bigger inj., TB, Upper and Lower Intake, etc...)?
Show everybody what you got!

dont know about my 331...yet, will let you know within the next week though

probe forged 30 over pistons, forged eagle rods, scat crank, long tubes, aod with b&m shift kit, cam.....i need some heads and a carb though

i have had my 331 at 12.9 @ 110mph. that is VERY slow for my combo (partly driver, partly tune and part traction problems). I should be in the mid/upper-300 range in HP.
the only thing that i wish i would have done, or will do, is step up injector size. Other than that, i do not regret doing my 331, and i dont wish i would have went any other way.
I use the motor as a daily driver (when i want), at the track and on the weekend. I basicly just drive it whenever i want.

Check my sig for times and combo...

It's not a daily driver though, its pretty much a toy. I drive it only when its nice out and weekends. The most I ever drove it was for about 3 days in a row. The only thing I regret is not going 3.73's. But when I put the gears in the car was a 5-speed and a blower was always a plan. But before the blower I went to an AOD...Beside the gears there isn't anything I regert about the motor combo..

Nice car! What are you taching at 120mph? Would 3.73's be too much gear? The reason I ask is that I will have a 331 w/SC combo in the somewhat near future.

Not sure exactly what the RPM's are, still using stock tach. On my best runs I was just going by howw the car felt and sounded for shifts. But it is under the stock rev limit of 6250 though. Know that for sure since I am still running on the stck ECU(A9P)..

When I swap this combo over the 84 coupe I plan on getting some sort of aftermarket chip or tuning system. That way I can raise the rev limit incase the 73's make the motor pass the stock 6250 rev limit..

The 331 is a good choice, I have a 347 built by Kotzu Racing and let me tell you it is a big difrence from the 302. I haven't take the car to the track yet, because I only have 300miles on the engine. I was running 12.5 with the 302 and i am hoping to run 11's with this 347 before i put a vortech S-Trim.

You were running 12.5s with your 302? That is sort of what I am looking for on my 302. What applications are you running on that?

On my 302 i used to have trick flow heads with 2.02 to 1.60 valves, trick flow upper and lower intake, E-303 cam, 24lbs injecor,75mm pro m, bbk headers, bbk t- body, 1 inch intake spacer, m/t slicks.

With my 3.73's I would be @ 5800-5900 right after I would cross the 1/4 mile at the track. I was trapping 117+ mph on that run (with a blown headgasket around the 1/8 mile:))

Thats with the T-5Z?? What gear were you crossing in?? I think I maybe a little higher with the AOD and non'lock up converter...
