Currently I have Cobra intake, ASP pulleys, DenseCharger, MSD 6AL and Shift Kit. I know it's not a lot and I know I'm no where near 13 et, but what would help me get there the quickest. Gears, 3.73ss or 4.10s??? What exhaust set-up?? What should I gap my plugs at with the screamin demon coil?? What are some small accessories that are needed to get the most out of my slug???

thanx

hey dawg, we have some of the same bolt ons. i had the same problem with gears and exhuast. gears i opted for the 4.10s and will never look back, and exhaust, MAC L/T, ProChamber adn FlowPath(awesome). I haven't taken mine to the track but last week i had an encounter with camaros and beat them both. now i don't know if it was all my car or their bad driving(probably bad driving) but i beat them and that's what counts.

Im in the same class of mods as you guys (sorta). I think, an H pipe, and headers will get me at 13's.

Power braking at the 1/4 mile might help alot.

thanx JR. i was kindda of leaning towards bolt ons. not to sound like a d##k, but i've always seen nos, as cheating. that doesn't mean i will never do it

70 MM is perfect, the stock TB adapter and the top Edelbrock intake is a perfect 70mm all around. I chose it because FF&MM April issue said gains of 40 hp. And the brother's catalog has gains up to 35-40 hp, both dyno's where done on a stock 5.0 fox.

I get better launches from power braking, I usually let off the brake around 5 or 5,500 RPMS. But don't do it a lot, it will hurt the tranny over time.

5500 damn, you must have a 5-speed. 40hp from a TB, pretty impressive, I should look into that then
