OK... this is not a 4 sale thread AT ALL, so mods please dont get mad, but I want a few opinions here...

I am wanting to get an off road h for my longtubes, but mac only come in durablack, which i dont like... I was thinking of taking my MRT catted h & having it customized to fit my longtubes. I was then going to gut the cats so it looks like Im running cats on my car... Plus I like the MRT because its stainless & its a high quality peice....modifying it is not a very hard thing to do...Just an idea I have. the same thing was done to the UPR x I have on the car right now...

On the other hand, i can sell it for $300-$350 since they cost $515 new, & I can buy an off road H for $150 & still have $$$ left over. & i feel weird about butchering such a nice quality h pipe.... What do you guys think?

sorry but id say keep the x on there,lol....seriously your car is gonna sound blatty with the o/r h....but ive been in this situation before, at first i planned on cutting m UPR X like yours but then when i purchased the longtubes i decided to get the o/r prochamber to tame my exhaust a bit...was running o/r x and borla stingers at the time...well, the prochamber tamed it alright, so much my car sounded constipated,lol....i didnt like it at all....so i had already sold my upr x, so i had to purchase a vrs x for longtubes and finally sold the prochamber this week...id say save money and modify the mrt h or keep your current setup with the x pipe.

Do U think a BBK H will fit Mac longtubes? I struck a deal with a guy to sell my MRT H for $340 shipped, but i changed my mind after I went to price shipping at ups & it costs $136 to do regular ground shipping from California to Pennsylvania!!!! THATS JUST PLAIN OUTRAGEOUS!!!!
