My rear brakes dont do squat unless I pull up my e brake and jam them hard.
Someome told me its because there not adjusted right with the ebrake cable spring? or something

Can someone tell me what s that about?
the brakes are all new and should work.

You may want to bleed the brakes. Might have air in the rear brake lines.
Mustangs are notorious for nose diving.

A set of springs with a higher rate of compression in the front will help. Also, adjustable struts help nose dive by firming up the frontend.

got that all taken care of...
bled the piss out of them several times.

I read something back in the days about this also.
I guess im gonnna have to play w/the ebrake cable on the calipers

The rear brakes are self-adjusting. How new are your pads? Stock brakes have never been known for being great performers. They were an improvement over the Fox drums, but still not something I'd consider great, just adequate. I have to agree with JJ95GTID that they're definitely known for nose dive, and sometimes some suspension can help with that, but the fronts are still taking the majority of the abuse. If something does seem out of whack, take them apart and ensure the pistons aren't frozen in the bores or something, but short of that, I'd be willing to bet they're working, just that they're not anything great from the factory.

its like this

on the lift....tires spinning i step on the brakes and nothing

If i click the e brake up about 4 clicks and i step on the brakes they work great awsome wicked

My ebrake works fine when its all the way up also

the rear pistons are the screw in type.....they screw in when u change the pads aand compress the piston u need the square tool to get the pistons in.

my pads are new
