I want to buy a T5 tranny but how can I identify which year it from. I dont want to buy a '88 thinking it was a '91. please help a.s.a.p!!!! thanks

The ID tag is the only way I know how to do it without pulling it appart.

There are a few different online T5 ID tag decoders, enter the tag information into 1 of them.
