How to make fake parts real..?

So my 03 has the side air intakes and the one on the hood. It's plastic with fake, sealed honeycomb 'holes'. Any way I can make them real or usable?
How much work would that be? Any major changes that would need to take place?

It would be a complete waste. They are for appearance only and would do absolutely nothing functional except accumulate dirt and get the engine wet while its raining outside. You'll do more harm than good by doing this to your car.

There's a guy with an '04 Terminator (04sleeper) who put stainless vents in his heat extractor hood, but that car makes well over 500 RWHP, isn't driven very often, is garage kept, and is probably one of the cleanest cars I've ever seen.

So Ford had a tree up their rear ends while they made all these cars with totally worthless crap on them? That's so sad.
thanks though!

I wouldn't call them worthless, the idea was to make them look good (form over function). The old GT500's from the 60's had lots of pointless scoops and the '66 GTO's hood scoop didn't do anything for performance it was really just all for looks and for marketing purposes.

What kind of car do you have anyways? There's really no point in having brake cooling ducts, ram air intake systems, heat extracting hoods, etc... unless you're road racing multiple laps on a track.

Anyone have suggestions for taking my fake cardboard TV and making it real  :D

I picked it up from a furniture store for $1

OP if you ever figure out how to make fake parts real give me a call :nice:
