How to remove cats??

Well, the time has come.

I finally realized it was time to drop 5G's into my car that I've been saving up with (it's mostly stock) and I've been lazy. However, I did recently notice that the exhaust sounded louder - and today I realized it was because my POS left catback was loose and finally just fell off - anyways to make a long story short I unhooked the rear end latch so the only thing keeping it up is how it's balancing on top of the rear axle - anyone know how to take it off? I don't really feel like having it towed down to Mieneke to just have them saw or rip it off??? I'll probably be driving for a week or so with no left catback while the new headers, x pipe, and catback are on order so with 1 tip I'll feel like I'm in a V6, but oh well. Lemme know if you've had any experience, haha. Thanks guys.

You are talking about the cat-back I assume, not the catalytic converters like it says in the title, right??

The only way to remove the cat-back is to either cut the exhaust pipe just AFTER the muffler. A hack saw works just fine, just make sure you have new blades, and use a new blade for each pipe. It will make the work easier, but not necessary.

If you dropped the axle, you could remove the cat-back intact. But there isn't much of a point to doing that, as it would take way too much time.

I have heard that people can get it out by having someone pull down on one side of the axle, and the exhaust will come out intact. But that is just what I have heard, and can't confirm that & wouldn't try it.
