How to remove pin gum from paint ? [PICS!!]

I parked my car under a pin last night at my friend's house and saw this this morning.. damnit. How to remove it without damaging the paint ?

Just go buy some bug and tar remover, or good ol gas works well (not on the paint though), or last but not least there is a paint thinner you can get some from your local body shop, it's made for preping paint surfaces for buffing and waxing.
 
At the BMW dealership where i detail at, we use adhesive remover and/or carb cleaner to get almost anything off. I havent come across anything that has not come off with those two above....and we see some pretty crazy stuff.

Oh yea, they are safe on paint too. I would suggest to get a microfiber towel to make sure you dont scratch the paint trying to rub it off.

I would just soak in Bug and Tar, then wipe away with a clean microfiber cloth. I wouldnt use anything else (gas, WD40) those are potentially harmfull to the paint. After you cleaned the pine sap, make sure you wash the whole car to remove any traces of the bug and tar.
