I am looking to get a 351W off of either a 74 or earlier or a later model F-150 or E-150 .... they are the 5.8 engines.
I plan on boring the 351 .030 to make it a 357 ... then adding a stroker/rebuild kit to make it a 408W ... How reliable is this and what else would i need to change? Heads, Intake, Cams, Rods, Pistons??
Also if i bought a rolling 89-91 GT chassis with no engine or motor, what would i need to drop the 351W/408W into it? I know I need an oil pain/windage tray and dipstick, but what else would be needed for this degree of drop in?
