I’m lost and don’t know where to go.

Well some guys on here might know me. And know that I have asked almost every build for a fox body. But I’m lost and need some help. First off I haven’t bought anything. I got a 93 hatch back. I want to build a great set up, but don’t know where to start. I want a weekend car but if I wanted to a daily driver. Something to make around 700hp and be in the low 11s. Or be running low 11s on the street. I’m not a drag guy, and have only been to a drag stripper once.

I first started thinking about going with a stock 302 and a novi 1000. Then a stock block and making it in to a 331 with a Novi 2000. Then a dart 331 and novi 2000. Then a 331 dart with a big snail. Now I was thinking about going with a dart 408 and just a lot of spray. Knowing that I’m going to be making this power I have also looked in to upper grading the upper and lower control arms, 5 lug and bear brake kit, sub frames, TKO 600, 315s in the back to hook up with.

But know I don’t know, and like I said I’m lost and need some help. I got the money and don’t know how to spend it right. Anything you guys can think of?

You don't need 700HP to go 11s.

If you got the funds I would do an aluminum block 408 setup with big heads, a mild custom turbo cam, a nice intake, and a single turbo. Turn the boost down for driving, and bump it up for some real fun.

I know that 700 is more than I need I just want some more if I ever wanted more.

OK what about cost to power? Big motor N/A or smaller motor and blown, or big motor and blown.

408 dart block 90 mm turbo plus everything to support that. But if you only want to run 11's then Iam sure just a 302 with some boost can handle that.

to build what ur talking about is $30K-$35K and that is u turning the wrench urself.
Keith craft racing 331/347 race longblock $15K. periphals $5K - (headers, exhaust, TB, inj, MAF, etc.) TKO 900 from MMR and Mcleod twin disc - $3500, suspension mods to hook up $4000, power adder - $4000-$6000, fuel system - $1500, ignition and tune- $1500. The list goes on and on. It is extremely expensive and when u sell it u may get 40%- 50% of what u have in it.
