I’m stumped And really irritated.

Today, I was drilling out a broken bolt and damnit if I didn’t break the bit off inside the bolt. Do I buy harder bits and drill through it again? Not sure how to proceed. There’s about an inch of bit inside the bolt.

I find a good quality carbide on a drumel works best in this situation. Depending on the bit quality of either you may need a few.

That’s riiiight. As soon as you said dremel, I flashed back to when I first brought this car home and had to do the same thing for a water pump bolt. Thanks!!

Step 2, install p heads
Step 3, throw e7's with broken bolt in the scrap pile
