I broke the mount for the water pump... bad?

So like the title says, that little aluminum< I think > piece that the water pump bolts to broke today when I was trying to remove the pump. I don't think it's anything serious, but... is there anyway anything can get messed up from this? I plan on replacing it as soon as I find one.

The timing cover is not very expensive to replace.
