alright i had a wreck right before summer break and with the insurance money i got a cheap cobra r hood and even cheaper saleen kit. i got a local body shop to put it on and i got scammed...it looks like crap .......so i need to fix it again. this time i want to do it myself(i have a friend that has taken body work classes and i got connection with a a ford dealership that will spray it) i was just wondering wat i should do about replacing the hood and body kit. i was thinking about a cobra front bumper and put the original skirts and rear back on. and i was thinking about either a stock or cobra hood(not r) i like my r hood but the way the guy put it on(with hood pins)i dont have a hood latch. if you guys could put up picks of some of your favorites. i dont really want to go too crazy because of the fear of a ricy look.

What color's the car, just out of curiosity? I've always been a fan of the cobra front with cobra R hood as you've got. Here's one of my favorites:

I'd keep the hood and see if there's a way to transfer your latch from the stock hood.

Yes opal frost is correct.

Thats a pretty rare color.

I plan on putting a Stalker front bumper, Saleen S218 wing, SVO side skirts, and a 4" cowl.

Im still undecided about the rear bumper since I wont have tailpipes.

since its rare(and i think it looks nice)i'll keep the car that color (if i can by the paint from a retailer) how expensive is the svo skirts and side ehaust. i heard it might cost an arm and a leg to go that route

I found a deal on the exhaust. Im prolly getting it in a few weeks. As for the skirts, they are not cheap.

Im just worried about scraping. I already drag in alot of places.

OR you could do what I had a while back.

Run no mufflers with a pipe going out the side. It was loud and sounded good. And it only cost me like $50. this was back when I had my cats.

Now I have no mufflers or cats and its just obscene.

Need pics to see how bad it is... Might be fixable with some bondo and sanding... chea kits are the worst... i bought one for the probe and it was so think i could see through it 7 layers my ass
