I think thats all you need, i have an 88 also, and im gonna need to convert real soon. My problem is i plan on adding a supercharger with the next year or so. So i need to get fuel injectors like 30 lbs or so , which means i'll have to get a mass air meter calibrated for it. Pain in the @$$ if ya ask me. so thats gonna set me back a few more bucks

Trip to the junkyard... 89-92 Mustang computer (A9L for 5 speed, A9P for auto, auto computer will work Ok for a 5 speed) - $105, 70 MM Mass Air Meter from a 94-95 5.0 GT(89-93 MAF is smaller 52 MM unit) - $60. Plastic electrical connector for MAF - $1.

To the parts store or mail order... Wire and two Ford electrical connector pin kits from Autozone $20. Mail order wiring MAF harness $40 or so from Summit if you don't want to build your own.

Instructions from Stangnet at http://www.stangnet.com/tech/maf/massairconversion.html, priceless, but free to you.

You can go to autozone and get a computer for 100 bucks and give them your old one as a core. I got the wiring harness from www.brothersperformance.com for 100 bucks makes it very easy to convert.

Unless your going to change to cam/supercharge/turbo, you don't really need to convert to mass air. Most times the speed density cars are quicker than mass air. They outlawed (last I heard) speed density cars from racing in the street 5.0 class. They were putting up solid 12's with minimal mods.

Just checked out the rules http://search.netscape.com/ns/boomf...://www.nmraracing.com/news/012604/default.htm .
