After doing quite a bit of research, I'm ruling out the "Boss" mustang...and back to the Steeda, but instead of ordering a new car with Steeda Level II or Level III options, I'm thinking it would be better to upgrade my 2002 to Level II or Level III since I only owe about 4 more payments and will only have about 30,000 miles on it when paid for. 2 questions - Will the 275/40 17" Nitto tires rub on the front while turning? - Which Steeda SC would you go with for stock 2v engine internals? I want a quality SC, but I don't want to trash my motor. Mostly highway driving...and will probably not be taken to the "track" very often. Might not ever take it to the track/strip.

Thanks.

275's will fit up front and shouldn't be a problem unless you really slammed.

As far as the SC, there are now sooo many different opinions. I believe they still use Vortech and Paxton? If you don't want to trash engine (as you stated) go with an intercooled Procharger or Aftercooled Vortech. These are only my opinion.

I really do like the KenneBell 9psi kit with the intercooler, but it is big dollars.

With the Kenne Bell, you won't have to run the rpm's to get the boost you want, I don't know much about what type of SC's Steeda uses.

Get a mongoose kit from www.modularpowerhouse.com You get everything you need for right at 4K for the vortech kit and a few more bucks for the Novi 2000. You should see in the 360-380 whp range.

They just buy the other cosmetic stuff and suspension stuff from steeda.

"intercooled Procharger or Aftercooled Vortech"

Those are 2 of my preferred choices - I like the "Recirculating Oil System" on the Procharger because I'd like to avoid knocking a hole in the oil pan if possible.
