They arnt too bad, Warren that is, bristol on the other hand are pains in the ass. I got pulled over for tinted windows this spring, the kicker is i had my WINDOWS DOWN!!! Sent me to court. Warren cops dont seem to care about the petty thigns bristol does, ive been nabbed in bristol for smoked liscence plate covers, and now in bristol they require all bikes to run baffle's etc so a loud car will prob get bulled over also. But warren all in all isnt bad, 2 cops actually own stangs. 1 a 94-95 Cobra and 1 has a 4v cobra. Later bro

well a while ago, i would kind of tease them, and they'd obviously never get me, but 2 cops just bought the house infront of me, and their cop friends have been grilling me down, ever since. they see that it's not inspected, so their an ass about it.

So far I've been lucky in RI with cops. The only time I got pulled over was in my Jeep Wrangler and he told me to take it easy. For some reason they don't bother the COBRA???

I am starting to get idea that the rice rocket crews paint a bad picture for those type of cars and take all the bad attention. I still can't believe R.I now has any kind of smog laws. When I was home an inspection sticker consisted of good tires, your lights and horn working, and brakes.

haha! i just turned 21, and i can remember them just checking the wipers, lights, and tires, and giving you the sticker! yeah, they don't bother the cobra much, they kind of have a respect for it those that haven't, have gotten a nice view of nittos being lit up

Other than the smog checks how bad are the inspections? Is there a visual inspection and you have to prove to them that your after market parts are 50 state legal? Thats what California does, some places want to see C.A.R.B stickers!!! Even if so, there are ways around every thing.

as long as you know someone, you are all set here pretty much. i have a guy who pulls out another car to run on the dyno when they run the tests. alot of places are very serious tho. they wouldn't let my van pass because it had "worn" shocks, and egr light was on. so obviously i just took it to a dude i knew, and thru in a 6 pack of buds! the visual test for me consists of "dude, nice ride!"
