okay im sure some of you remember my thread about a month ago when the horrible happened.. i hit ice and rolled the stang after so much work fixing it up to get it to pass inspection and only a few weeks of having it on the road

well thanks to the input from fellow stangnet members, i found a rolling chassis for a great price (from MurphMaster5, a great guy to deal with by the way) and i dropped the engine, trans, and rear from the 91gt in it

(engine in and after a little bit of cleaning)

I think things turned out pretty well considering this was my first time doing an engine swap. I had a few questions though, i have an eldelbrock rpm intake in hand but the engine is completely stock internally. I only have 3:73s, bbk headers, offroad x, and a flowmaster catback. I heard that the rpm intake would actually be "too much intake" and hurt my performance rather than helping it on the stock engine. I want to go ahead and put it on but will it really hurt my performance? or should i wait a good while so i have time to save up money for a nice set of heads and a cam to throw on as well?

thanks, Brad

I would defintiley wait and do it with the heads. Its quite a large intake for a stock motor and would prolly hurt your low end. Put it on if you want. But I would save my time and do it all at once. Great looking new car, BTW!
