I'm going old-school!!!

I decided on traction bars, and I'm going with the old school Lakewood slapper style bars. I have a 6-point roll bar in the car, along with welded in subframe connectors, and I figure that these will be perfect for helping the car hook up, at the strip. I have built this car with the main intensions of making it a drag-only car. I have eibach drag springs with air bag, and figure that they will help with the weight transfer. Do you think that these traction bars will help with the suspension setup.?????????

id go for the lakewood action traction lift bars. they are like 165 or somethin from summit and from what ive heard from various people they really plant your tires

I've heard that they plant em' good too. They seem to be a pretty quality piece.

emmmmmmmm traction bars.................. nothing looks meaner than a old muscle car with a tall rear and a huge set of traction bars stareing you in the face. specially if they are a different color and stand out.

I have them for the '93 and they do work well. Only problem I had was they landed on the rear of the subframe connectors so I had to really run them low to get any clearance. I only ran them at the track and kept the axle plates on the car so it only took about fifteen minutes to install them. The steeda aluminum LCA's I just installed seem at least as good or better for traction.
