info on T5 transmission tag

just picked up a t5 cheap off a friend of mine and im tryin to figure out what year and all and i've got the numbers off the tag but dont know where to go from there. can anyone point me in the right direction or help me with these #'s? thanks

F4ZR='94 Mustang, dunno if it's for a 5.0 liter or a V6 though...

I think the '94-'95 5.0 T-5's had a slightly longer input shaft due to a longer bell for those years

thanks for the replies guys, i found a site with a tag identifier that also said 94 v6 and i just compared the input shaft to a buddy of mines '92 trans and it is a bit longer so i guess good deal was a waste of money after all

Input shaft is longer and the housing where the throw out bearing slides is steel rather than aluminuim

Just change the input shaft and bearing retainer to a Fox shaft and retainer and you are good to go
