Started making all of the pipes to and from my intercooler tonight after the rain went away. I almost finished until my dad came out and started yelling because it was at 11:30pm

Update on my cars issues... I think I found out what my problem was. There was a vaccum leak that wasnt bad at idle, but what I'm guessing happened was when the boost kicked in, it would force air out of it causing my car to run real rich. I fixed that and took it for a drive but I wasnt getting any boost... Found out tonight when I was doing my IC piping one of my silicone connectors had come loose oh well... there is always tomorrow. And now the pictures

The stand is just holding the pipe up in place... If it falls on my leg if its under it, I think I'll survive

Looking like more progress. Awesome job. What intercooler is that that you are using. Those silicon connectors can always be troublesome. Have you spot welded some rivets on the piping to help hold the connectors on.

the intercooler is just an Ebay one... Forgot who I got it from. yes I did meet Kyle yesterday. I was in my bosses explorer because my car didnt make it due to the problem I listed above

I havent spot welded any rivits onto the piping yet, its just mocked up there to make sure it'll all fit. I'll have pictures tonight of the finished product.

Looking good man! I can't wait to start on mine... well right now I can as I'm sick of working on our cars. I have spent every night this week working on my dad's 91, we got it fired up at 1am last night though so we're finally getting there!

I want to see videos too BTW!!!

Awesome dude.

I haven't been here in a while and I probably missed your Turbo thread. What kind of turbo and psi do you plan on running.

Its a Master Power T-70 that he's gonna boost 30psi and blow his block up so we can all have something to laugh at and discuss. HAHA J/K

haha you basically got the ideas Jeremy Although I dont want to blow my engine, if it happens I have no other choice to buy a bigger better one. I'm running a Master Power T-70 with 6psi right now until I get it running right, then up the boost goes. Back outside to finish welding thoes pipes. Pictures later on tonight.

no need to weld a bead around the intercooler pipes.. Hair spray works just as good.. and he's putting out less then 10psi. I don't see that being a problem.

Looking good but why didn't you get yourself a intercooler with the enter/exit on the same side of the tank? Would make things easier for you. That and it would flow better because you wouldn't have those extra 2 90* turns and you will have less volume/length to deal with.
