can anyone make any suggestions? i have a goal of about 400-450 eventually... perhaps more so 450 in a few years with a blower of sort... i currently have a trick flow street heat upper/lower and will be running a custom grind cam from FTI
The twisted wedge are good heads, the reason I bought them was because there port potential. Basicly you will not have to buy another set of heads again.
The TW have so much meat on them that can be taken off and can be ported to out flow 185's.
AFR make good heads too. Either one is not a bad choice.

yeah teh second one sounds more or less the path for me at this time... eventually id like to build a 331 stroker or a 347 stroker... but thats later on...

I think you want the 4's not sure which I actually have off the top of my head just know they are non-o ringed cuz no blower or anything atm. I do love my heads the only thing you have to watch out for is when putting spark plugs or exhaust bolts into these heads because they are aluminum and soft. but not to bad plus the ability to port them is a damn good plus.

yup! summit sells the little track heat and street burner kits... those are the heads from the street burner package, those were the ones i was looking at... so match that with a nice custom cam from FTI and i should be good
Get the Trick Flow H/C/I package and throw on a supercharger that will get you your goals since you said thats the more direct route you want to take. The Trick Flow package is cheap over all when compared to everything you would have to buy seperatly and its all meant to work together.
