Interesting GT Build-up

I dunno if you guys have been following the "Mods for Mods" series in MM&FF but I found it really interesting, mainly becausing of the ongoing question around here of how to reach 300+ rwhp on a GT motor. Using their motor, they were well above 400 at the crank N/A. When they boosted it with a Vortech, 650 came easily, and they were only limited by their internals. So...if this can be done on an older 96-98 style 2V engine, very cool. It certainly motivates me to keep the GT.

Yeah well Vortechs are godly...the coolest part about the series is definitely the high HP numbers while remaining N/A. There was a 96 HP and 45 lb/ft gain with ported TEA heads!!! That is just awesome
