Introduction: I'm getting an '89 tomorrow unless you guys stop me.

In reality, it's probably a stock engine/trans setup with a busted 3rd gear.

It is a convertible...not many people build 600HP drag beasts out of convertbles.

Plus, why did he remove the gt-40's to put stock heads on?

As I said Earlier Sell the bike out right and you wil have cash left over to build what you want. I bought this for $1400.00 I paid $120.00 for the wheels and tires. 5.0 Auto with 82k original miles!:D I currently am prepping for paint and building what I want for a hell of alot less than I could buy someone eles garbage for.

When you want something bad enough you'll over look things. "That's not too bad, I can fix it." Then it all adds up and wonder what the hell was I thinking?

To the OP, you're better off just selling the bike out right and take your time looking for a Mustang with the cash. Sounds like this guy is hiding a few things and I don't see trading a custom Harley for an 89 Mustang. It sounds bad just writing it here then actually doing it.
