Is a Throttle Body worth it on a cobra intake?

Hey guys I have a 94-95 cobra intake on my car, would it be worth it for me to step up to a 70mm throttle body, Im also upgrading my boost to 9#s and adding 36# injectors and a bigger maf (73mm). I have read a post by one of Accufabs engineers that states there is no point to putting a throttle body on the stock mustang intakes where the egr is built into the intake manifold, and that they tested it and found no gain because they coudlnt push more air past the egr area, even with a bigger throttle body. Can anyone back this up? or shoot it down?

My FMS T-body did NOTHING in terms or hp for my car...But it did fix my idle which is why I bought it..(complete new unit)

That really does not surprise me.

I almost made it to 300rwhp with the stocker.

On a stock or mild combo, larger tb's are way over rated IMHO.

I plan on being somewhere around 320-350 rwhp so i would be above that level. I also see what you guys are saying about forced induction being a different ballgame, so im going to try to get a 70mm unit. I was going to get a used one for 75 bucks but some how the guy broke it so it fell through. I cant afford a new one, so im gonna keep looking for a used one i guess.

T/B's are so overrated. You can make 300 rwhp n/a hp on the stocker. Like was already said, they become necessary with forced induction or more cubes.
You should be perfect with a 70mm with 9lbs. of boost.
