You guys cant win for loosing

FYI - it is supposed to be 60 by the weekend

Unlike Texas.....WE don't close down for a few inches of snow.....and even our "blizzard" last week of 23" only closed down non-essential services for less than 24 hours.............

Same thing for our flooding.....being that we are surrounded by water, it either runs of into the ocean/L.I. Sound, or it soaks into the ground............the roads are already drying up...

BTW, the biggest cause of flooding has been the over development of what was once farmland, leaving less open ground for the water to soak into........................

see and y'all thought us texas boys were bad at least we do actually some COLD weather now and then, and we even have rare times we actually get some snow. i remember about 2 years ago we got about 8 inches in just a few hours, i think it was a record for this area, and yes pretty much the whole city shutdown because noone here knows how to drive in snow much less 8 inches of it, however i am one the unfortunate few who does know how to drive in the snow:damnit:

Hey thanks! that saves me of spending several weekends doing it myself for my 65!

And by the way i beleve it was last year they had to postpone the TPC (huge golf tournament) when it snowed like 4" in scottsdale in febuary.
