It's STOCK I swear!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked in my buddies hot rod shop one day and he had a old 66 malibu in there with a blower. It sounded like that. The breaks were not strong enough to hold the car still when it would lope like that and would leave black marks on the floor when it would chip the tires. It was in there for some big brake work.

Badass car, but that lope has nothing to do with the cam. That's a surge that you often see on big roots blower cars. I've heard some call it "blower surge" and some say cars running on alcohol will do it because of the different burn rate of alcohol. I haven't been able to find out a good explanation.

Blower surge is what my buddy called it. He said alot of it can be settled down with proper fuel to air ratio tuning etc.

That is what people around the car were worried about. They were worried that the brakes weren't gonna hold the car and it was gonna hit one of their Mustangs parked in its path......

Not to mention it was wet out. It rained....no poured for the cruise in 2005 and in 2006. 2006 was far worse weather than 2005, because we had no break from the rain, but mother nature redeamed herself with beautiful weather in 2007!!!! I have a couple of vids from that.....this guy on a unicycle doing tricks in front of our cars. That was a funny vid...I'll see if I can find it.

HAHA....Yep!!! :D 2006.....Small world!!! Wasn't that the meanest car sounding car in the world??

For sure….and if I remember it right that was right in the middle of mustang alley (go figure).

Regardless of whether that's from the cam or blower…it was one of the meanest sounding rides. Hell, even standing 30ft away you could feel the reverberations from the exhaust on your chest!

Hell yeah!! You know, I have always wondered how many stangnet members there are at Mustang Alley, or Woodward itself. Too bad we couldn't have some sort of sign by out cars, so we could meet one another.

I'm with ya! That particular year I was with a club called "Wildhorses" and was parked in a lot right off of the street. I think the next time I may throw some decals in my rear window from stangnet and turbomustangs (for the event only). :nice:

I think I remember seeing some car clubs that year. The decal idea is a good idea. I noticed there aren't many ppl from Mi in here, and the MW Discussion forum is kind of slow motion. Seems like many guys are down south, or over in Jersey, Maine, and Penn area.

There is a few of us on here…but not as many as there once was it seems. That's one of the nice things about Woodward too…it's an easy way to bring us all together!
