I've had virtually every cat back out there, and still can't find one that fits.

I've had Flowmaster, Mac, and Spintech Pro-streets (the tiny muffler), my friend has had Dynomax, which I did not like.

I just got done spending at least 2.5 hours on a lift trying to get my spintechs to fit my notch. I had tail pipes from my old Flowmasters AND Mac mufflers.

I don't like flowmaster at all, the "classic" mustang sounds is irritating to me. Dynomax is way too quiet, sounds stock to me. Mac's were eh. The spintechs, i love the most, but the fitment, damn....witht he pro-streets I am not sure if they are made to be run as dumps or not, but their site doesn't specify anything about tails or dumps. I'm not about to drop $500 on Bassani or Borla either. I've run out of choices it seems. I'd like to get a complete catback now so I can get SS tail pipes at the same time (which mac does not offer SS tips anyways, or do they now?)

Anyways I am just very frustrated because I spent a lot on my spintechs and got nothing what I was expecting.

I mean what are my options.

I just put on the magnaflow catback set up - seemed to fit fine although I have the engine and tranny out at the moment so I don't know how it will hook up to the H-pipe, but I don't see it being a problem.

Macs tail pipes are chromed, which I really hate. I love stainless tips because they are easy to clean look awesome and never rust.

Uh dude, why did you do a MAF conversion on a 90? As far as your exhaust problem, just take it to a shop and let THEM fight it into submission.

Well I see the problem. You want stainless exhaust but dont want to pay for it. Try out Magnaflow. Anyone who says they sound stock must have a stock car.

Are they SS, and then chromed? Or are they polished SS?

blackfox, I ordered the kit from our very own partshopper.com com and the description confirms they are polished SS tips.. here's the description:

Check out MAC's NEW Catback systems! This catback features a 2-1/2 inch system with new Durablack high-temperature coating and 3 inch Polished Stainless Steel, fully adjustable tips!

The kits come with MAC Flow Path mufflers for an aggressive sound and easy installation. This system is true 2.5" throughout. All systems come with MAC True Fit joints which eliminates gaskets or muffler clamps.

Hope that helps!
